Guitar

Guitar students learn all styles of music on nylon string guitar using the finger style method with standard notation. The standard notation is the best representation of the composer’s intent and teaches students to read music.  Students will be able to develop skills based on proper technique, posture, music reading skills, and an understanding of the fret board. Students will play music from all periods including classical, jazz, blues, folk, and of course, pop and rock.

We currently only offer private lessons for guitar, but we will soon begin guitar classes for young children and adults. Please contact the office if you are interested in a guitar class.
